🔐 First Release – DRM License Cipher Now Available on Tizen TV

We’re excited to announce the initial release of the License Cipher SDK for Tizen TV, enabling DRM License Cipher protection for video streaming applications on Samsung’s Tizen TV platform.

What’s New:

• Brand-New SDK for Tizen TV
  A dedicated SDK has been developed to integrate License Cipher into Tizen TV client apps. This SDK helps you safeguard the communication between the DRM client and license server with ciphered license requests.

• Widevine License and Key Protection on Tizen
  You can now secure Widevine licenses and content encryption keys on Tizen TV just like on Android and Web platforms. This helps prevent unauthorized access or extraction of sensitive DRM materials from the device.

• Same Security, Extended Platform
  By extending License Cipher support to Tizen TV, the same high-level DRM security used on mobile and browser environments is now available on connected TVs, ensuring content protection across more device types.
