Overview

DoveRunner's Anti-Piracy feature in the DoveRunner Console now supports a Takedown service tier, complementing the previously released Monitoring Only service. While Monitoring Only allows content owners to track where their content appears across the internet, the Takedown Service enables them to take direct enforcement action — formally requesting removal of identified infringing content from hosting platforms, with DoveRunner's anti-piracy operations team executing the requests.

New Features

  • Takedown Asset Registration: Content owners can register their assets specifically under the Takedown service. The registration flow is tab-separated from Monitoring Only registration, with independent form states to prevent data cross-contamination between the two service types.

  • Letter of Authorization (LOA) Upload: Takedown requests require legal authorization. Content owners can upload a LOA document (PDF or image) directly within the console. The LOA is securely stored and associated with the relevant asset, providing DoveRunner's team with the legal basis needed to submit DMCA notices and platform-specific takedown requests.

  • Infringing URL Submission: Users can submit infringing URLs through the dedicated Infringing URLs tab. The system validates URLs on entry — rejecting malformed URLs and flagging duplicates across assets — ensuring clean submission data before requests reach the operations team. Submitted URLs are queued for review and actioned by DoveRunner's anti-piracy team, with status updated in the console as requests progress.
